Preface
The purpose of this web site is to provide information and materials for students enrolled in Wayne Smith's Management 360 course, Class # 13431, for the Fall, 2015 semester.
This course meets Fri 8:00am - 10:45am (Fri 8/28 - Fri 12/4, 16 weeks) in NA101 [ Campus Map, Google Maps, Google Earth ].
This course is taught in the traditional format.
This course is offered by the Department of Management in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). CSU Northridge is one of 23 campuses in the California State University system.
My email address is wayne.smith@csun.edu. For email
sent to me by students, the Subject line should start with "[CSUN Mgt360]" (without the quotes).
Interested students may learn more about me by reviewing my personal web page. The PDF
materials on this page require the "free" Acrobat Reader.
The dates in parentheses indicate when the document was last updated.
Note: Materials listed as (CSUN only) are restricted to CSUN students, faculty, and staff only. To access these restricted materials, CSUN stakeholders will need to enter their full CSUN email address (e.g., "john.doe.14@my.csun.edu") and their CSUN password.
Notes
The following notes are updates and changes that occur prior to the beginning of class (in descending chronological order).
- Sat. Jul 4, 2015: Before the first day of class, please access and review the course web page, including all of the documents linked in the "Course Materials", "General Materials", and "Assignments and Exercises" sections.
- Sat. Jul 4, 2015: I recommend purchasing a new textbook. The main reason for this is that I believe students should retain their textbooks from core courses through their academic program. I have made procuring a new textbook for this course relatively easy by using a textbook that retails for less than $130.
- Sat. Jul 4, 2015: Yes, there are many students who wish to add this course. I cannot handle adds until the first day of class. Students can sign up on the COBAE Waitlist for MGT 360 (the links are in the upper right-hand corner of the web page).
The above notes are also available as a subscription feed [ .atom ]. A subscription feed is a
contemporary approach to automated notification.
Pre-Course Materials
These materials can be accessed before the first class session.
These resources can be useful for prospective students desiring to gain a better appreciation for the subject matter of this course without enrolling in the course or purchasing the required textbook(s).
These materials are especially useful for non-business majors who are considering enrolling in this course.
Materials in this particular section will not appear on any quiz or exam, although an exception may be made for the final exam and the specific details of that change will be discussed in class.
