Preface

The purpose of this web site is to provide information and materials for students enrolled in Wayne Smith's Management 360 course, Class # 10441, for the Summer, 2016 semester. This course meets Tue/Thu 1:00pm - 4:15pm (Tue 5/31 - Tue 7/12, 6 weeks, Session II) in JH2230 [ Campus Map ]. This course is taught in the traditional format. This course is offered by the Department of Management in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). CSU Northridge is one of 23 campuses in the California State University system.

• Tue. May 17, 2016:  Before the first day of class, please access and review the course web page, including all of the documents linked in the "Course Materials", "General Materials", and "Assignments and Exercises" sections.
• Tue. May 17, 2016:  I recommend purchasing a new textbook. The main reason for this is that I believe students should retain their textbooks from core courses through their academic program. I have made procuring a new textbook for this course relatively easy by using a textbook that retails for less than $130.
• Tue. May 17, 2016:  Yes, there are many students who wish to add this course. I cannot handle adds until the first day of class. Students can sign up on the COBAE Waitlist for MGT 360 (the links are in the upper right-hand corner of the web page).

Pre-Course Materials

These materials can be accessed before the first class session. These resources can be useful for prospective students desiring to gain a better appreciation for the subject matter of this course without enrolling in the course or purchasing the required textbook(s). These materials are especially useful for non-business majors who are considering enrolling in this course. Materials in this particular section will not appear on any quiz or exam, although an exception may be made for the final exam and the specific details of that change will be discussed in class.
