Preface
The purpose of this web site is to provide information and materials for students enrolled in Wayne Smith's Management 360 course, Class # 15472, for the Fall, 2007 semester.
This course meets all semester, Tue/Thu, 9:30am - 11:00am, in SQ104.
This course is offered by the Department of Management in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). CSU Northridge is one of 23 campuses in the California State University system.
My email address is wayne.smith@csun.edu. For email
sent to me by students, the Subject line should start with "[CSUN Mgt360]" (without the quotes) [ example ].
Interested students may learn more about me by reviewing my personal web page. The PDF
materials on this page require the "free" (as in "free beer") Acrobat Reader.
Notes
The following notes are updates/changes provided prior to the semester and between class sessions (in descending chronological order).
- Wed. Aug 1, 2007: Yes, there are many students who wish to add this course. No, there is no waiting list for this course. Please bring your latest Degree Progress Report (DPR) paperwork with you to the first class session. You must attend the first class session in order to eligible to add this course. Either the Dept. Chair or I will manage the add process during the first class. Please ensure that your major/opion ("academic plan") as listed in the SOLAR system is accurate. If you are a business major, please make sure that the DPR shows that you have that you have completed (or are currently enrolled in) both BUS 302 (gateway lecture) and BUS 302L (gateway lab).
- Wed. Jun 6, 2007: I recommend purchasing a new textbook. The main reason for this is
that I believe students should retain their textbooks from core courses through their academic program. I have made
procuring a new textbook for this course relatively easy by using a textbook that retails for less than $20.
The above notes are also available as a subscription feed [ .atom ]. A subscription feed is a
contemporary approach to automated notification.

These materials can be accessed before the first class session.

These materials are especially useful for non-business majors who are considering enrolling in this course.
